Meet The Staff

Connie DuPre, M.D.
Connie DuPre is Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine with more than 20 years of experience treating medically complex patients in all aspects of care. Dr. DuPre completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. After completing residency, she worked in a long-term ventilator care facility in Louisiana for a year, but returned to the Medical College of Georgia as a faculty member in 1990. Dr. DuPre remained on staff as an Associate Professor of Medicine in Internal Medicine from 1990 to 2000. During her tenure, she was elected by the medical student body to the prestigious AOA medical society as a faculty member for excellence in teaching and patient care. She also achieved recognition for excellence in patient care by attaining fellowship designation by the American College of Physicians.

Dr. DuPre has been in private practice in Griffin since 2000 and has enjoyed a reputation for thoroughness and excellence in care from her patients and peers. Her interest is in both the prevention of illness and pursuit of wellness. She has attained advanced training in weight loss and aesthetics. She has had additional training for procedures such as hair removal with Candela GentleYag, BOTOX®, dermal fillers such as JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel, chemical peels by Glytone and fractional laser treatment for skin rejuvenation.

Dr. DuPre is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana. She attended LSU and graduated medical school from LSUMC in Shreveport. She is married to Dr. John DuPre and has three extremely active children. She knows the importance of balancing family and work and its impact on health. She believes that education and awareness are the keys to achieve health and wellness. Her philosophy is partnering with patients to achieve attainable goals that impact health and wellness.

George Capo, D.O.
Dr. George Capo is board certified in both Family Practice and Bariatrics. Dr. Capo grew up in Columbus, Georgia and received his BS in chemistry at Columbus State University. He attended medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic medicine and completed his internship and residency at The Medical Center in Columbus. He is a member of the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association. He has years of emergency room experience and has been working at the Family Medical Centers in both Griffin and Thomaston since 1998.

He has received advanced training in multiple procedures including BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVEDERM® Injectable Gel, Laser Hair Removal and Fractional Laser Treatments for skin rejuvenation. His training also includes medical weight loss management and anti-aging.

Paulette Cloud, APRN-C, NP
Paulette Cloud is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who has an expertise in aesthetic medicine as well as Family Practice. With over fifteen years experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has a holistic approach to health and beauty. Furthermore, she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society in nursing and Board Certified by ANCC as a family nurse practitioner and a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners. Paulette has studied extensively in cosmetic dermatology, anti-aging, weight loss and aesthetics. She has received and is certified by the Laser Institute of America. In addition, she has received training through the National Procedure Institute in Aesthetics, Advanced BOTOX® and dermal filler training through the Aesthetic Advancements Center in Atlanta, Sclero training through National Procedure Institute and is certified in Obagi® products and was trained by world renowned dermatologist Dr. Obagi.

Working in collaboration with her supervising physicians, James Gore MD, Connie DuPre MD and George Capo DO, she has received advanced training for procedures such as IPL PhotoFacial (Intense Pulse Light), laser hair removal with the Candela GentleYag, BOTOX®, JUVÉDERM® Injectable gel, and Sclerotherapy, Chemical Peels by Glytone and Fractional laser treatments for skin rejuvenation.

Paulette Cloud, APRN-C, NP has been practicing in the Griffin Georgia area since 1999. She was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and received her Associates of Science in Nursing in 1983. After moving to St Petersburg, FL, she received her BSN from the University of Tampa and continued on to obtain her Masters Degree as a Family Nurse practitioner.

Paulette believes that establishing a trusting provider-patient relationship is a must. She always listens to her patients with an empathetic and open mind and believes in empowering patients with knowledge. She believes that a multidisciplinary approach to a patient health, aesthetics treatments and weight loss is essential to achieve overall holistic healing of mind, body, beauty and spirit.

Ashley Caldwell, Spa Coordinator
Ashley Caldwell is New You Med Spa’s coordinator. Ashley received her Registered Medical Assistant Diploma from Griffin Technical College. She has also received numerous certifications in aesthetic procedures from Elaine Sterling Institute, a renowned Aesthetic Training Facility. She is trained and certified to administer and perform Laser Hair Removal, Intense Pulse Light Therapy, Medical Grade Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasions. Ashley has also received extensive training in our Obagi and Glyton Medical Grade Skin Care Products and Jane Iredale Cosmetic line. Ashley works beside our Health Care Providers of New You Med Spa to assist our clients in the Physician Directed Weight Loss Program. Together, they strive to assist our clients with their goals, whether it is with skin care or weight loss.
